66" tall

“Evening of the Sixth” is sculpted from a single mass of black walnut, and mounted to a semiprecious Brazilian granite base. The hair is varnished with a satin finish, and the body has been treated with boiled linseed oil.

As the pinnacle and finality of all creation, this sculpture captures the Artist's work, mid-process, while Adam sleeps. The interfering movements of Eve's hand and hair suggest the completion of her absent-sided figure.

Her presence demands attention, while pleasantly inviting the viewer.
