“One for Another” is a representational sculpture depicting the support one receives for another. The strength and firm stance of the supporting character offers freedom and livelihood to the upper one. As charities so often witness, it is the efforts of one that another is freed. It is made of two pieces of American elm that were side by side in the same trunk. The base is a semiprecious Brazilian granite, representing earth.

This sculpture was designed specifically as a charity donation to the Sinnissippi Foundation, an organization that supports behavioral health and well-being for people in local counties.

*It will be for sale only at the Expressions Art Sale and Reception, at The Next Picture Show Gallery in Dixon, IL on April 25, 2008.
