A challenge to create, Pristinity stands alone as the pinnacle of my most intricate work. Rhythm and life are sculpted directly into one solid trunk of a black walnut tree in the lowermost part of it’s branching region. In an unplanned approach to this piece, only the inspiring beauty of nature’s floral forms held as model to the randomness that my imagination yearned to see and feel in the resurrection of this once living organism.
This is one of the great efforts in the goal of pristine sculpture.
