40" tall

Alive was made from a rock slab that served as a foundation stone for Dekalb county's 150 year old post office in northern Illinois until a decision was made to replace the building with modern architecture. Setting aside opinions on what should have been done with the historical structure, something beautiful was made from the wreckage.

Made from Indiana limestone, also commercially known as Salem limestone, ironically.
