This sculpture has been one of my favorite forms since I first created it in 2007. The wavy side is strengthened by its contrast to the opposing form, and the bodily masses also oppose each other with one expressing weight at the top, and the other at the bottom. My choice for Willow wood is to make the point that beauty is often overlooked, as this species is seldom praised. It's only current use is in the making of the drug, Asprin.

The sculpture was airbrush dyed with blue, violet, and red. The finish is a UV resistant urethane, much like automotive clear coat.

15.5" tall, 7.5" wide, 10" deep.
