This a bookmatched burl. The term refers to the mirrored effect of a piece of wood being cut and opened like a book. The images on either side of the split line will oppose each other. There are four bookmatches in this piece, which is made of two Big Leaf Maple Burls. The dark corner accents are made from redwood. It measures 36" by 24" and will hang either vertically or horizontally. AVAILABLE
