Padauk & Glass

Padauk is a tropical wood known for it's red/orange color and large pores. There is a layer of maple burl laminated in the middle.  The wood is sculpted to capture a twisted glass form (made by Nolan Prohaska) without the use of adhesives or fasteners. The wood fininsh is acrylic urethane and was chosen for its UV inhibitors, guarenteeing longevity of the beautiful color. The base is solid steel.  

18 1/4 inches tall, 9 1/4" wide, base is 5" diameter.
