Please click on the images for a more detailed view.

This laminated form begins with Birch wood being cut into thin layers, followed by coloring with wood dye. The layers are then stacked and adhered together before sculpting. The result is an organic shape whose form is visually amplified by the revealing of the alternate layers.

Both sides of this sculpture are equally appealling. making it well suited for central placement upon a ledge or long table, as well as a French table or cradenza. The wood finish is UV resistant, non-yellowing acryllic urethane.
