Camphor is the medicinal wood that camphor oil is extracted from. It is highly aromatic, although this sculpture has been well sealed with urethane and now gives off no scent. This sculptural form is a three sided mobius, meaning that it has only one surface -not three. It is created using a technique called "segmenting", where a single piece of wood is cut into pieces and they are joined end to end. There is a steel inner core to the form, like and armature. The legs are aluminum.

17" tall, 11.5" wide
