Please excuse the quality of the photographs. Our one hundred year old farm house dining room has no ceiling lighting. This is the largest maple burl I've ever sculpted. The entire perimeter is "live edge", or as-found. The lines and movements are very precise and meticulously sanded. The piece can also be hung in four positions, but this is my favorite. You'll have to take my word for this -it looks much better in person!
