Thuya burl is from Morocco, Africa. The wood is so dense with its own oil that finishing beyond sanding and buffing is unnecessary, and its aroma is much like oregano. This sculptural object has no specific arrangement for display, and is enjoyable to handle and feel. Its ideal placement would be somewhere it can be handled regularly; such as a coffee table or end table.
