Basswood is a maple species, chosen for the project for it's light color and light weight. The soft tone strongly shows the dark black lines created from high voltage electricity being passed along the surface of the wood. The sculpture represents two figures, coming from the same source, standing closely and harmonizing their forms as one. They stand separated from each other, displaying the effects of electrification between them, representing a communicative energy. The piece is meant to honor close friendship or marriage. The base is steel and the overall height is 63 inches.
