Buckeye is a variety of Chestnut that grows at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is a root burl that envelopes rocks and soil as it develops, which gives character to the shape. The colors are natural. This sculpture hangs in two possible arrangements, either more horizontally, as pictured, or vertically. Mounted via French Clete method.
