“Serpentine” was free-handed from an Osage orange tree that fell here in Rockford. From its lower end begins a fire-like hellish unearthing of a confidently poised backbone. Its rise and backstretch characterize a snake's attack position. “Serpentine’s” sly and cunning face is sure of his intentions.
